Hidden Britain is dedicated to assisting Rural Communities to Plan and Develop Successful tourism Projects. In order to meet this challenge we have assembled an archive of information on how you and your community can successfully undertake your own project.
You may want to start off by looking at what others have done by using our case-studies of the projects working with Hidden Britain to date. Each of these includes details on the need for the project, how it was planned, who was involved, where the funding came from, what was done, what was finally achieved, and what was learnt.
If you are interested in developing your own Hidden Britain project, why not get in touch? We may be able to provide some hands on advice and support to you and your project group.
If you are just starting out, don’t worry, as long as you have the enthusiasm within your community we can help you step by step. The project guidance steps section will take you through all 14 key stages of developing a project, with examples and toolkits at each stage.
We have developed many resources ourselves here at Hidden Britain, and have brought all of these together to allow easy access to the information.
Finally there are many other resources out there to help you develop a project; therefore we have also put together listings of useful information held by other sites and organisations. Please note we cannot be responsible for the content held on external sites.
